OK here is a hard problem.Have an old pc (intel495 platform pentium D). It's working on a server client network as a client and the computer couldn't connect to the server.(checked the cable-switch-server-other clients everything worked apart from this specific PC).So I guess something in windows stuck and needs a refresh. I'am trying to format it but the windows installation stucks on loading the files to start up the installer.(CD working just fine, HDD is in good condition,used memtest to test the ram,the disk driver is also working) But I still can't make it continue to format.
What is wrong?
I suspect the motherboard is starting to fail,but no bluescreens- post is done properly no error codes.Nothing.
Any ideas ?
