ASRock 970 Extreme3 R2.0 vs ASRock 970A-G/3.1 for FX-8350 overclocking?

I'm wondering which one would do better for my FX 8350 build, I do plan to overclock to 4.5 ghz with a hyper 212 Evo. Any thoughts or past experiences with these boards?

ASRock 970 Extreme3 R2.0 or ASRock 970A-G/3.1 ?

I would go with the ASRock 970A-G/3.1. It appears to have more power phases, better designed for OC'ing. It also has a better heat sink over the VRMs.

appreciate the reply, I saw that too. I think I might not even go with ASRock this time, I saw a lot of good reviews for the MSI 970 Gaming, when paired with the FX-8350. I think I'll go with that, unless maybe you might have a better option?

They're all good. Some just OC better than others. I've had just about every brand board on the market several times over and found that Asrock and Asus seem to OC the best if we are talking in the same price range.
