Theres no reason to go with skylake now that kaby lake is out. Go for the i5 7500. Its faster and costs the same.
With the kaby lake you better go with a B250 chipset on the motherboard.
In addition, if you re building a gaming pc you better get a better gpu. eg gtx 1060 6gb or rx 480. Its a big performance increase compared to the 1050ti. If you re on a tight budget though, you can go with an i3 7100 and put the rest of the money on the gpu. i5 + 1050ti < i3 + 1060 6gb for gaming
