I have a 2TB WD Black Caviar Internal HDD, When I power it ON, It Starts for a while and then starts clicking sound, then after some time it just does not make any sound anymore... It shows unknown capacity in bios while its showing its Drive ID correctly...., It even doesn't show up in the Windows Disk Management...
Can anyone Help me up sorting the problem...
Thanks in advance.

Hi there John Corner,

Sorry that you are facing some issues with your WD drive.

Clicking sounds is not really a good thing when it comes to hard drives.
One thing you can do is to attach the HDD with different cables to another SATA port.

In case the issue persists:

You can just RMA it, if it is under warranty. Contact our Support or the place you got it from: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=IoSHO0
If the data is really important, you will need to contact a data recovery company. You can check WD's Data Recovery Partners out: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=ITvHJv

Cheers,
