Hi Upgrading from CRUCIAL SSD 525GB to some PCIE-SSD , please suggest which one will be better , Intel 60P 512gb , Samsnung EVO 960 250Gb or any other branded 256gb priced around 130$

For gaming and regular use like that, I would definitely rather have a 512GB Intel 600p than a 256GB Samsung 960 Evo. You'll struggle to notice any difference between them due to speed, but the doubled capacity of the 600p is very noticeable (especially with how big games are getting).
If it's for gaming the latency is the only good gain in M.2 PCIE. I suggest getting the crucial mx300 M.2 525 with the PCIE card. Know you may have problem with PCIE card version if your thinking of making the boot drives.

Why are you upgrading?

The Intel 600p is only a little faster than SATA SSDs like the Crucial MX300 (I assume that's the model you're talking about), but a good SSD nonetheless. The Samsung 960 Evo is much faster, but also costs a lot more. And the extra speed isn't worth it for most uses. There's also the even faster and even more expensive Samsung 960 Pro.

600P is slower but a better value as you get twice the storage. I have a Samsung 960 Pro but honestly I don't really notice the difference between it and my Samsung EVO SATA SSD. Based on this I'd say the 600P would do you just fine.

u reply makes no sense....the only reason to use PCI-E ssd is for faster read write speeds.
The crucial pcie-ssd which u suggested or crucial mx 300 ssd which I have , almost have around same speeds are like same , then whats the point in spending extra 40$ for same speeds same capacity which u suggested ??

Upgrading for faster game speeds , boot times and fast multi tab browsing.
I already brought samsung 950 pro 256gb for one my build , priced around 180$ , but it is expensive
So planning to consider intel 60p 512gb (just for 512gb storage) for 140$ or the samsung evo 960 256gb for speeds.

Becasue even if we buy 500gb ssd/pci-e or 256gb ssd/pci-e they fill up very soon.So I alread yhave secondary mechanical 2tb HDD.Since faster speeds and perfomance is criteria , leaning towards 960 evo 250gb for 130$..
PLease suggest ??

Again its the latency. For gaming getting a small file fast has more to do with latency. The speed means little as its still way slower than RAM. If your wanting fast access to huge files like movies or master key database files then sure the 960 pro is it. Most games live in RAM and call for small files that means latency. The M.2 version can get the file for games faster then sata versions recieves the request.
