Hi guys, I hope someone can help me out! I am currently trying to find the best recommendation to build an about 1000€ gaming PC, more or less so. If you think 100-200 euros more will make a phenomenal difference just recommend it too!

I already have the operating system but that's all. I will need everything else. And I know NOTHING on building a rig (or anything about parts either) so I am truly relying on any of you who wants to help a girl out.

After always buying every Sony's console release out there I got tired of the system of being unable to play new releases on older consoles, as I like to own physical copies of the games and even if I didn't the systems are not even compatible. It drives me crazy and I feel like the investment is hard to swallow when you look at the bigger picture. I've been a gamer (not a hardcore one) in consoles all my life. I much prefer offline gaming and most of all survival horror games so I am pretty sure the performance does not have to be, at least for now, the highest end performance possible. But I can be wrong too.

The perfect idea would have to get a system that could last a few years and which has the ability to be upgraded through time, if need be.

I am also a photographer and own a 5k iMac, as for editing purposes I truly love the apple OS better. I've been seeing PC systems where the gamers use the apple monitor to play but I've also seen PC gamers hate on the trend. I am not parcial at all so I don't prefer one over the other as I believe they serve different purposes , but if I could save on a screen and use the iMac monitor I would, because I am not rich either and the iMac was already a big professional investment I am still paying for. So if any of you think the iMac delivers a good performance image and speed wise please if you could have that into consideration while making your recommendations (I know with that budget it won't be perfect whatsoever but I am praying on the gaming gods it will be great anyway!), that would be great. If you don't think the iMac monitor will be good at all just refer so and add a monitor recommendation too, please! :)

Thank you so much guys, I hope I can get a few recommendations! If you need any more info from me just ask away.

I will need a keyboard/mouse and monitor if you guys think an iMac 5k will not be a match to other monitors for a PC system. I think I explained it better on the first post! :)
