Hi guys, I'm currently in the process of upgrading my rig from an i5 4440 to an i5 7600K. I purchased the ASUS Z170-E right before Kaby Lake was released and was originally planning on pairing it with an i5 6600K but I managed to get the new i5 7600K for $240 with tax (CA) so I opted for that instead.
ASUS says my motherboard will work with the 7600K on their website but I don't have a Skylake processor to update the BIOS. What do I do? If I can't do anything myself (preferred as I like to learn to do things myself) I will just take it to a computer store to have it updated with one of their Skylake processors.
