The other day I booted up a fairly old beast of a machine I've had sitting around in my room for some time. I knew the computer previously had issues with blue screening before but as there was no need for me to fix it immediately I put it off until the last week or so. When I booted it, as soon as I connected to the internet it gave me a blue screen. I looked it up, and it notified me that this was due to an out of date driver which I quickly fixed. The computer then ran perfectly for approximately 20 minutes only to be met by another blue screen. I looked up another fix for this but the only info I received was that I needed to update my drivers. It's currently running on a Windows 7 operating system and I was wondering if by updating to Windows 8 this would also update the drivers needed and fix the issue? I'm kind of clueless as what to do otherwise so any help would be appreciated!
