Hey, im in a bit of a pickle.
So my homebuilt computer died a week ago. It wouldnt even run the fans, so i did some diagnosis and thought i narrowed it down to the motherboard or CPU.
I bought a 7600k, 1x8gb Ballistix sport Ram and an ASRock pro4 z170 as replacements. Now it will run the fans, but still no signals at all to the monitor. As an added fustration, after 10sec or so the PC will shut down, then restart...and repeats indefinatly.
I went through the guide posed for this genre of errors, but to no avail. I tryed a brand new PSU (EVGA 600B) and no luck. Currently it is breadboarded and there are no signs of any damage to any of the products.
Motherboard: AsRock Z87 extreme 4 --> ASRock Z170 pro4
CPU: i5-4670k---> i5-7600k
Ram: 2x4gb Ballistix ddr3---->1x8gb Ballistix
PSU: Corsair CX600 ---> EVGA 600B
CPU cooler: CM Hypercool 212
Fans: 2 NZXT stock fans
Case: unknown model NZXT
GPU: Asus 760 OC edition 2gb (unpluged)
HDD: WD Blue 1TB (unpluged)
Basic optical drive (unplugged)
Any ideas? What could be wrong?
