upgrading from lga1366 to lga1155. water cooling question

hi guys,

quick question. i am going to order myself an i7 7700k and mobo ram etc to upgrade from my i7 930. i have an exisiting corsair watercooler in my system now. just wondering if it would fit my new processor and mobo or if i should add new watercooler to my order.

you definitely do not need a new cooler if this one is working properly.
Depending on the model of you cooler you might need a mounting kit, but most probably you will be able to mount and use it as is.

Thanks for this - i suspected this to be the case with the Corsair Watercooler i have , its working well. Will give it a go and not order the replacement watercooler unless requred
