Hello.
I think I have to replace my Mobo because of faulty ram slot, but I can't find one that suits my use.
After searching for hours, I came across a problem... My PSU use 8-pin atx or 2x 4-pin atx, and my Mobo has 8-pin atx.
Is it really necessary to a Mobo have 8-pin atx for gaming? Can I use a 4-pin atx Mobo?
And also, are there other things that I should check, like chipset and that kind of things?
My specs are: I5-4430, 2x 4gb, GTX770 2gb.
Thanks and sorry for my bad English =P

Thanks for the response.
I have Corsair gs700 PSU, EVGA GTX 770 SC 2GB, 2x 4GB Kingston 1333MHz, an I5-4430.
With that config, can I use a Mobo with 4-pin ATX?

Ah, it's not the 24 pin cable. That isn't the cable I was talking about. Normally, you plug two cables on the Mobo, a huge cable (24 pin) and a smaller one ( 4-pin or 8-pin).
