Hello, sorry if this is the wrong place, but I found a lot of really helpful threads on this website and thought I might be able to ask for some assistance.

I've been having problems with my brand new computer since I received it regarding wifi. I run on a windows 10 with nvidia.

We originally had poor internet that was reaching astonishingly low speeds so I based my computer's connection issues on that. However we just upgraded our internet, and doing a speed test on all other devices such as phones and laptop provides a download speed of around 30mbps, and an upload of 9. This is fine for us... But when I go test on my pc, it only reaches a download speed of around 5-7mbps, whilst the upload stays the same at 9.

Earlier today I was gaming online and streamng on twitch, when after an hour my computer lost internet entirely. I did a speed test and the download speed was 0.2! I turned it off and came back an hour later and it's back to around 5mbps. All other devices were and are still reaching much higher speeds.

I just have no idea what's causing it! The fact the upload speed is consistantly around the 9 mark on all devices makes me think that something on my computer is prohibiting the download speed from reaching it's full potential hut i'm at a loss!

:( really hope someone can help me out

WIFI can be hit and miss with combination of different WIFI devices and some just mesh better than others, but it seems that the WIFI controller in your new PC either isn't the best quality one and really sufferening, needs a driver update, or something. What do you know about the computer, in term of it's sepcs.
