Hi all,
Need help here, my birthday is near. My wife could let me spend US$600 between to uprade my pc or getting ps4 pro.and im in philippine basically pc spare part is a bit expensive than amazon and newegg.

Im having hard time to make decision getting kaby lake part or ps4 pro

My pc that i buy in nov 2012,
Spec :
Proc : I5 3470
Ram : 8gb 1600mhz
Mobo : Asus P8Z77M- Pro
Hdd : 500gb
Ssd : 120gb (bought it 1 year ago)
Vga : Palit gtx1060 super jetstream (Oct 2016)
Monitor : Asus Vg248qe ( Dec 2016)
Cooler : CM hyper 212x (nov 2016)
Case : Aerocool strike one
PSU : Aerocool 600w 80plus bronze

Any specific reason? I can't think of any reason to go that direction when you can save ~$80 going Skylake non-k overclock.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7hR7NXTLs1k This is only one example, but I would do some research on Kaby Lake performance differences. If you plan on doing productivity, I could see that being an option (if you opted for an i7 7700k). If it's going to be primarily gaming, overclocking the 6400 is the best bang for your buck, by far.

Hey Shin. You have a pretty big budget and only need to spend a few hundred to get some good improvements. Since you've got a 1060 and a 144hz monitor, all you really need is a new CPU. Your current build is very solid and honestly, if you'd rather have a PS4 (sit and play, ease of use, etc.) go for it!

If you decide to upgrade your computer, I would look towards a Skylake CPU and overclocking it. You can use this link to get the BIOS you would need to flash and use on the below motherboard I've linked. To dispel any misinformation, you do not need a K series CPU to overclock (Skylake exclusive). You can push the 6400 to levels on par with the 6600k.
