Would a graphics card work with my computer that has FreeNAS installed? Are drivers required?

Would a graphics card work with my computer that has FreeNAS installed? Do I need the drivers? Or would it still boot without it? I am thinking about getting a cheap card such as the GeForce 210 or even a GeForce 8400?

Thanks for the information. In addition to the web GUI, I would like to able to use to console when I boot my machine. I am thinking about upgrading my motherboard and the one I am considering does not have an onboard video chipset.
