So i have big problem i guess
I have 2x4 Team xtreeme ram
I had a problem where i couldn't extract high compressed files cuz i had
corrupted rar messages
And also the pc used to freeze and i had to hard reset it but when i turn it on again the ram appears that i only have 6gb and 3.95 usable
Tho when i remove one stick doesn't matter which one everything goes fine
Did a memtest and found no errors
Any fix for that ?
P.S: tried every single ram in every slot in the mobo
My pc specs :
Sapphire 7850
Ram : Team xtreeme 8 gb 2x4 1600 mhz
Motherboard : gigabyte ga-970a-d3
Cpu : Amd FX 8350
Psu : Cooler master extreme 2 625w

Before removing or installing your memory, make sure to turn off the computer and unplug the power
cord from the power outlet to prevent damage to the memory module. You have 2 memory cards use white slots for your two memory modules, if this does not work one of your memory modules may be damaged.

Okay will do that but how can i make sure which one ? Cause each one is working on it's own
+
Will raising the voltages solve it ?

I would set voltage to Auto, setting your own voltages may cause instability.

Does the BIOS/CMOS Setup show correct memory amount in "Standard CMOS Features"?

Try in BIOS/CMOS "Load Fail-Safe Defaults"
