Hi so I recently purchased a Rode NT usb which is a good mic. The quality is good from the many videos i have seen and people i have meet with the mic. But despite this i face the problem that well my mic sounds pretty average, I sounds lower quality then it should and im not sure how to fix. I have tried everything ; Levels, setting it the highest quality unplugging it switching ports and also reinstalling windows and new pc hardware the only thing that didnt change was my headset, gpu and case. I have tried everything i can think of. Now i have a similar issue prior to this i had a Blue Snowball which sounded ehh on my pc and i dealt with it after trying so hard to fix and then finally i thought i should upgrade so i gave my friend the snowball and on his pc it sounded like it should so much better then mine. It seems that my upgrade the Rode NT usb seems to be doing the same thing and to be honest im stumped so if anyone can help it would be much appreciated.
