I am replacing the damaged socket chip for CPU with new one

The kind of motherboard and model is H110M S2PT with lag 1151

The problem is the pins is broken not bent so I am going to buy new socket chip for lga 1151

The problem is I don't know where to buy it and how much would it cost

Also I am in Egypt so it's extremely hard to find spare parts for it

And last thing

Will it work efficiently like it was before? Like to use PC for 14 hours continuously 3 times or 4 per week?

Thanks in advance.

if you find the crazy guy with the equipment and you are ready to accept that a short between those pins can kill cpu, mainboard and ram, well, do it

that guy didn't protected the resistances in the middle of the socket, this shows that the guy has only practice, anything you don't want to desolder, must be shielded, and not with that material

the heat might end up bending the mainboard and killing the tracks

those bga soldering are fun, to damage, repair, not that fun

one thing i noticed is that the guy doesn't have the robot positioning properly the part in place, he is not using plans to know if pins are properly aligned, it is in general a waste of electricity and time

i still think that is faster and cheaper to buy another...
Unless you have or know someone with very, very good soldering skills, you will not be able to replace a broken socket, even if you do find a replacement socket, which I wouldn't say is something that would be available. Some companies might be able repair it, but at a cost much greater than the cost of a new motherboard.

Since it is only 1 pin you can try to boot the computer without it. In some cases the pc will work just fine. However, if not, it is time for a new motherboard.

edit: one thing you might try is to take it to a jeweler and ask him to solder a pin onto it, the same as the other pins. It might work.

You could probably source a new socket if you didn't mind buying 1000. But bootcher is correct, this is not a simple job. Complex PCBs are made with a lot of automation, wave or thermal soldering, very rare for the delicate components to be hand assembled.

Just getting the old one off would be a challenge that could easily damage the motherboard. There are several layers of circuitry sandwiched in there.

If you have any exposed metal for the broken pin, you could also try silly things like sticking a tiny aluminum foil ball on it.

Also it's not the whole socket it's just the metallic pins in plastic thing of socket that will be changed. And I heard it's not easy also not hard

soldiering? no, this requires a robot doing infrared soldiering and there is not much laboratories doing that procedure, the socket replacement

the socket and the procedure will be more expensive than the new mainboard that will be easier to install

do you have problems with a windows license or something not allowing you to replace that dead mainboard?

Replacing a socket is not cheap, you heard wrong or are mistaken with something else. Maybe you can link the YouTube video you are referring to.
Those metallic pins in the socket are soldered to the motherboard and cannot be taken and replaced easily.
