how to know if a memory(ram) card is compatible with my motherboard??

and is it ok to combine a 4gb and 2gb ram? cause my motherboard only have 2 memory slots.

Check your MB specifications, the manufacturer will list the supported memory, include the type, speed, etc. For old intel MB like below 5 series chipset MB, you can find the memory compatibility problem very common, because those old MB will need the low density RAM, and most newer memory are the high density one. Also it depneds on your CPU too. So without any info on your MB/cpu it is hard to say.

Yes, it is ok, if they will work together, but there is no guarantee they will, because you use the mix memory. If the memory has same speed/timing, the chance is higher...

Yes, it is ok, if they will work together, but there is no guarantee they will, because you use the mix memory. If the memory has same speed/timing, the chance is higher. Usually we recommend to buy the kits RAM, because manufacturer will test the kit before they send the RAM to sell at retail.
