I recently replaced my R9 270 with GTX 970. I have a Corsair CS550 PSU. The pc was running fine for 3 days ater GTX 970 installed, but then lost all power twice in the space of an hour on 3rd day. After a few minutes I was able to power the pc again on each occasion.

No problems for last 2 days now. I thought it might be the PSU, however someone mentioned check CPU on speedfan for temps etc.
I have run Speedfan - temps read as GPU 59C, TEMP1 23C, TEMP2 127C, TEMP3 29C, HDO 27C, CORE 30C. (there is a red flame icon next to GPU, and the 127C temp readings).

The 127C temp is extremely high is it not. Is this what the issue is? I have just ordered a new PSU so am wanting to check otherwise I will return it if its actually the CPU I need to replace.

I did give the inside of the PC a good clean before I installed the GTX 970, perhaps I have done something to the CPU when cleaning out the dust etc?

Quick edit - I have downloaded Core Temp 1.5. Load on cores varies 13 - 30 percent. The temp readings at bottom of page read - Tj. Max 80C CPU #0 31C. Then across from that it says Min 30C Max 37C
