Hi,
I had my computer for a year and suddenly it keeps restarting out of nowhere. I have no idea what's going on and I need help! When I play the sims 3 or 4: I start the game up (if I'm lucky) and when the game is ready to play it will go black and then I'll get the windowslogo and my computer will be back to the login screen (the computer never goes comletely off, the fans keep blowing during the whole restarting process).

This happens randomly when I've been watching netflix or youtube for a while (3hours). When I play games the temperatures of my graphicscard are fine (45-53° C) and all of the sudden my pc will restart. Before my pc goes into sleepmode and I move my mouse to prevent it going into sleep mode, it won't show anything else but a black screen.

Windows 8.1 pro
processor: AMD FX(tm)-6300 Six-Core Prosessor 3.50 GHz
RAM: 8 GB
System: 64-bit with x64-based processor
AS Rock motherboard

Please help!

Hi,
1- Look into the cpu to see if it overheating (hwmonitor)
2- Failing hard drive can cause reboot problem, download hard disk sentinel trial to inquire, run chkdsk on drive to fix file corruption
3- if the computer crash, your psu could be weak and choke when on load (playing games but not videos)

All of the above, with the exception of power fluctuations, is available in your event logs. No reason to start fixing things that don't need fixing based on little to no information. I would recommend taking a look at your Application / System logs and look for Warning / Error messages around the time you have experienced a restart.
