Psu cables and Hdmi

Hey guys! I got a quick question
I bought a new PSU Corsair CX600
I also got a Gigabyte gtx 760. I have 2 6-pin connectors and 2 , 2-pin connectors if that makes sense. What cables do I plug in? I pluged in 1-6 pin and 1 2-pin connector from the other connector.
And it does not work. The Nvidia control panel cant find the graphics card. Also Im using HDMI to connect the TV to the pc. I bought a cable to the graphics card and its the cable to HDMI. And it does not work. Help please. The power supply works

They call those 6+2 connectors, and the 2 pin connectors are paired with their 6 pin. Don't mix&match them, use the one attached to the 6 pin you plugged in. With that PSU, the cable should say PCI-E on it.

ok so I plugged in the PCI-E 6+2pin and nothing. The fans are spinning but when I try to install the driver it says it cant find it. Is it becuase I need to plug in (i think its DVI) to the graphics card? If its that I have Dvi to Hdmi

You need to have your monitor plugged into the graphics card. Without that there is no way for the card to work.

When i plug the graphics card cable to the the PC then into the TV it does Not show up on 'HDMI' option. Also which cable to O plug in so the DVD reader will work?

DVD reader???

So you have an HDMI going from the graphics card to the TV right?

And you have both power plugs plugged in right?

When you boot the computer from power off you get no signal to the TV?

No I have the HDMI going into the TV and the DVI or whatever is that other cable to the graphics card.

Do this from the computer off, then it should boot up. I have no idea why you're asking about the DVD drive its irrelevant to this topic.

Nevermind about the DVD i got that done.
I plugged in 1 cable to the GPU and the other into the TV and the is no signal. On the GPU i have plugged in 6+2pin

Ok what cable did you use to connect the GPU to the TV. Also did you do this after shutting down the PC, and then turning it on with only the cable from the GPU to the TV?

Maybe this will help.I never had a GPU before only the onboard 1, maybe do I have to do something with that?
I turned off the PC plugged the cables and turned it on. 1 side of the cable is to plug into the card slot and the other into the TV hdmi slot

Ok and the GPU only has a single 8 pin plug onboard correct? You have connected the 6+2 to it, and you do see it powering up right?

I dont know what u mean by GPU onboard has 8 pin plug. What i ment Is I didnt have any graphics card before in the PC .there is no graphics card .now i plugged in the 760 with 6+2 pin . the fans on the graphics card are spinning but there is no signal on the TV . when i plug the other HDMI to TV and PC it works but not the one to the graphics card

Did you disconnect the other cable? There should only be once cable from the computer to the tv. The one from the gpu to the tv. On the tv you need to select the correct imput signal.

CPU: AMD A10 7700k 4 core
Psu: Corsair cx600
GPU: (In the system says Radeon R7) i have no graphics card beyond the GTX 760 That wont work
8gb Ram

Ok, so connect back to the motherboard with your HDMI cable. Then boot the computer and press DEL to go into the BIOS at the "Gigabyte" screen.

Go to the "Peripherals" menu and then scroll down to "GFX Configuration"

Set "Primary Video Device" to NB PCIe Slot Video

Set "Integrated Graphics" to Disabled.

Finally save and end the BIOS, and shut down. Then plug the HDMI back into the GPU and boot the computer.
