use a fan on the water pump header

Hello guys, i got a fan connected to the water pump header and it makes a lot of noise. Can i get the header to run it like it was a fan connected, instead of it thinks its a water cooler. btw motherboard is asus viii hero

You have two CPU Fan headers and four PWM Chassis Fan headers. If you're not doing liquid cooling, why do you have so many fans?

yes i know, but i got 1 fan in the top and that cable is not long enough to reach any of the chassics ports

I guess just explore BIOS to see if there are any PWM settings for that header. If so, just set up a silent profile or whatever it may call it and observe whether or not the fan spins at the desired speed.
