I know this isn't directly related to Networking but I think it's close enough.

Just wondering if someone could suggest a product that will allow me to get my satellite TV in another room using my wireless network. There's only one box in the living room and the charge for another one to be installed is atrocious.

Under $50 would be great if possible.

not possible for that price. a Sling TV box might be able to do what you want but they are expensive. also consider the fact that direct TV encrypts there signal so you would still need one of their receivers to watch it. just call them up and say you're thinking of switching to dish or cable

+1 to directv now. same directv service but it streams over the internet and not through a satellite dish. base cost is almost the same but you save all the extra fees and charges they make up every month. but you do lose dvr and local channels unless your in one of the few cities that they are on. but a cheap antenna will cover that.

otherwise, you have no choice but to pay for the new box and installation to get service in a second room. you could split the output from the main room and run a cable to the other tv set (no idea how far apart they are) but you would not be able to watch 2 different things and would have to use the remote on the box to change any channels and so on. there is no way around it if you want coverage in a different room, then you have to pay for it.
