Windows Recovery Environment (Windows RE) is an extensible recovery platform. Windows RE is a starting point for various tools for manual system recovery.

When that information has been cleared, your computer will see that a bootable DVD is inserted and present a prompt.

After configuring the next screen it should give you an option to Repair your computer.

Startup Repair will not repair unbootable systems caused by the following issues:
• Malfunctioning firmware and other hardware components
• Problems with clean Windows installations or Windows upgrades
• Windows logon errors
• Viruses and malicious software
