Hi, I keep getting the 500 error when clicking forum links. I wanted to try and find the right place and read some before you post threads altho I can not. I hope this is the right place, if not I am sorry.

I bought all the pc parts to build a new computer thinking I could do it myself. It was alittle harder then I thought but when I plugged everything up and turned on my pc for the first time I got no signal on my monitor. The bios never comes up because of the no signal. I have tried for days to get this working and no luck. I was hoping someone might have some ideas of what is wrong.

This is my system.

Intel 7th Gen Intel Core Desktop Processor i7-7700K (BX80677I77700K)

EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 FTW GAMING ACX 3.0, 8GB GDDR5X, RGB LED, 10CM FAN, 10 Power Phases, Double BIOS, DX12 OSD Support (PXOC) Graphics Card 08G-P4-6286-KR

MSI Enthuastic Gaming Intel Z170A LGA 1151 DDR4 USB 3.1 ATX Motherboard (Z170A XPower Gaming Titanium Edition)

Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200 (PC4-25600) C16 for Intel 100, White LED (CMU16GX4M2C3200C16)

EVGA Supernova G1 750W 120-G1-0750-XR Fully Modular Power Supply

I am new to computers and building computers so this is where I think I run into the problem.

Here is the motherboard link off amazon
https://www.amazon.com/MSI-Enthuastic-Z170A-Motherboard-Titanium/dp/B014PXH3CU/ref=sr_1_cc_2?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1484046652&sr=1-2-catcorr&keywords=msi+enthuastic+motherboard

Does it even support the i7 7700k processor? here on the link it says LGA1151, Supports 6th Generation Intel Core Trade i7/ i5/ i3/ Pentium/ Celeron Processors the i7 7700k is 7th generation right? so it wouldnt support that processor? Remember I am still new and learning as I go. Could I download a newer version of bios that would support the i7 7700k on a flash drive and update it that away? Even with the no signal? if so are there any good guildes someone could point me to? Thank you all very much for any and all help I very much appreciate it. :)

Thank you, Since there is no signal or display at all do I just go to the msi website and download the bios put the folder on a flash drive, extract all then plug it into the flash drive on the motherboard and it will do the rest? will it auto start when I plug the flash drive in?

Also when I go to the msi website and click my motherboard and bios I don't see 1.g or 1.h the top is 1.b second is 1.a then it starts with numbers 1.8 down to 1.0

With that motherboard you need 1.A or 1.B for i7 7700k

According to the motherboard manual:
Only the FAT32 format USB flash drive supports updating BIOS by BIOS FLASHBACK+.

By BIOS FLASHBACK+ button
1. Connect power supply to JPWR1 and JPWR2. (No other components are necessary but power supply.)
2. Plug the USB flash drive that contains the MSI.ROM file into the BIOS
FLASHBACK+ port on rear I/O panel.
3. Press the BIOS FLASHBACK+ button to flash BIOS, and the BIOS FLASHBACK+ LED starts flashing.
4. After the flashing BIOS process is 100% completed, the BIOS FLASHBACK+ LED stops flashing and be off.

Thank you for the help.
I put the file on a fat32 flash drive, plugged it into the flashback port found a button near the oc dash board that said flashb1 pushed it down the led light flashed a few times around 10 seconds then stopped. tho nothing happen. Was that the right button? only other button I can find is the clear cmos button.
