Greetings guys.So i currently have a pentium g3258 OC to 4ghz and i want to change to an i5 because my rx 480 is being bottlenecked a little bit.(i still can play games on ultra 60+fps but i want over 100+ bcause of my monitor)So my mobo is an:

asrock h81m-gl And i dont know if i need bios update,because i checked the site and it has no updates for this motherboard.Soooo can i "plug and play" or do i need more complicated thinks?
Thanks in advance!

4460 = 1.40 or better

4670(k) = all bios versions support it

4690 = 1.40 or better

4690k = 1.50

go into the bios, should be fairly obviously shown

if not use the bios update program they have, nowadays they can check for you
