Looking to upgrade my card, want some advice

I'm looking to upgrade, noticed a handful of more modern games have some stuttering issues after mid to long play(BF1, RE7, The Division), thinking of getting a GTX 1050 Ti possibly(upgrade from my current 2gb of VRAM to 4gb), my current build is:

i5-6500 3.2ghz 4 core
8gb ram
Geforce 950 2gb

was hoping for some advice about possible bottlenecks/better upgrades in a similar ish price range.

Upgrade ram to 16GB . more head space less pagefilesys = smoother run with less HDD accesses
the 1050ti and 950 video cards are almost at part. if you need to upgrade it get a 1060 3gb instead.

monitor temps, sounds like thermal throttling



you want at least a rx 470 for an upgrade


gtx 1060 6gb or rx 480 8gb = optimal for 1080p
