Why is this GPU more expensive?

Solution
Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Video Card ($428.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Dual Series Video Card ($399.99 @ B&H)

personally I see no differences between them, but I known Asus and I know MSI products for decades now. and I am sorry but "my personal experience with failure rates between these two cards, MSI has it far worst." I would go with Asus if stuck between the two

Personally you should look at the EVGA one a touch slower.. nothing you will ever perceive... but even cheaper than the two for the better quality product

Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 8GB SC GAMING ACX 3.0 Black Edition Video Card...

I see no meaningful difference in the manufacturer's specs. The MSI card runs it's memory very slightly faster in OC mode but, you'll never notice the difference. Even running benchmarks, the margin for error will exceed the potential extra performance. Go with the price.
