personally I see no differences between them, but I known Asus and I know MSI products for decades now. and I am sorry but "my personal experience with failure rates between these two cards, MSI has it far worst." I would go with Asus if stuck between the two
I see no meaningful difference in the manufacturer's specs. The MSI card runs it's memory very slightly faster in OC mode but, you'll never notice the difference. Even running benchmarks, the margin for error will exceed the potential extra performance. Go with the price.
Prices are different because they are not identical - same GPU/graphics engine but different card manufacturers, so some operating features will be different.
