Low gpu usage on Crysis.

Hi, users!

I was testing the tempature since I disconnected one fan cooler (which didnt impact anything), but the gpu usage on Crysis was weird. My gtx 1060 was only at 60/70%. The cpu was on 40%( i5 6600), but as far as Im concerned cpus are not meant to be used at 100%. Anyway, I was getting 70fps in average (ultra settings). But couldnt I achieve mor eif the gpu was being used properly?
Is it right or is there a problem?

Whats your RAM usage at? you can check by using task manager while you play. Also see if you have vsyn on or if the game caps the FPS there for you. I think its vsync but you never know.

The Ram is on 3.9gbs of usage (crysis is using 750mb). Oh, and I have 8gb

And you don't have vsync on? You can tell by going to the Nvidia control panel. You can also try enabling Kboost, which forces your GPU to run at max power regardless of what frames your computer can actually display. You probably have some sort of power saving thingy on where in runs harder at more taxing scenes and slows down to match your screen where it can to save power and reduce temps. Enabling Kboost and leaving it on will result in a hotter GPU.

I took a look at some benchmarks, what your getting is pretty normal. You could still try enabling kboost though.

Yeah. Turns out Crysis Warhead is more optimized haha thansk for caring, man. And even though it goes under 60fps, its okay. That is what crysis 1 does. But I was having annoyng stuttering. I know that happens the first seconds after you load the game, but I just did I clean install of the lastest driver and that did it.

I have a 1080ti and get 44fps, dips to 20.. only uses 30% usage.. if that with crysis 1.. crysis 3 I'm running 80-110fps at 3440x1440 with 99% usage.

Before you all ask my specs and shit.. yes.. THEIR IS a bottleneck. But ONLY on cpu heavy games, Like gta v, say..
(No bottlenecks on crysis 3 so don't suggest theirs one on crysis 1 lmao)

Also with tom Clancy wildlands my gpu sits at 45%... every other game is fine.. doesn't matter what settings I have... how the fuck do I "force" the usage here?

Everywhere online (And excuse my slight aggression) - theirs no answer out their.. why are things listed as "solved" when they never have been solved? It's very frustrating..

And I mean I didn't spend thousands of dollars to have it work as like not much better than my gtx770 was lmfao

Is their an option in nvidia inspector I can override?
