Hi all!

SO here's the issue:

I just upgraded my mobo, my ram and my CPU to an ASUS Prime B250M-A with Mushkin 16GB ram (8x2) and an i3 7100. I have an R9 280x Tri-X Sapphire from my previous build which worked fine until I upgraded everything. It has the proper drivers (the legacy Catalyst drivers which are recommended for the "older" cards), the PC recognizes the card and says everything is working fine.

However, when I plug the DVI-D cable into the R9 280x, there's no display. I've tried going into the BIOS and switching to PCI-E instead of CPU Graphics but the BIOS doesn't want to save the setting. I literally unplug the DVI-D cable while its rebooting after I save and reset. Nothing.

I've tried everything and searched everywhere for a solution. Nothing. So it's either my new mobo doesn't like the R9 280x or the card is naffed. Which would be really weird considering it worked perfectly on my last mobo...

Is it a Windows thing? I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate - fully updated. Again, the drivers are all good. I replaced the Crimson ones with the older Catalyst drivers at the recommendation of another thread I found while searching for answers. I was getting weird errors and force closures on the Crimson drivers so that fixed the driver issue but still not getting love from my R9 280x.

ANy help would be really appreciated!
