Will 92° C damage my laptop GPU?

I have a GTX960m GPU and while gaming the temps sits at around 90-92° C. I thoroughly cleaned the fan but it made no difference. I checked online but couldn't find the max temp for my CPU. Do I need to be worried about this?

I use MSI Afterburner to check the temp.

No that's pretty normal. It's very high, but that's laptops. Make sure none of the exhaust ports are covered up. Like if the laptop is on your lap it can overheat more since some of the exhaust ports are blocked and will just recirculate the hot air. If you are worried about the life of the GPU (which you should be) I would cut back a few settings, or try capping the framerates so that you aren't overworking the GPU.

I do the same thing with my 1080 desktop. I cap my framerates or use vertical sync to make sure my GPU doesn't overheat, but I also have the added bonus of having a full desktop with tons of cooling and a custom fan curve, but my GPU never gets over like 50C and thats at full load. But by capping or using v-sync my average game temp is always under 40C

Thanks for the advice. I mainly play Elder Scrolls Online and it has no FPS capping setting. Is there an external program that would let me do that?

Not that I am aware of. You might try turning AA off, as that is usually one of the most GPU hungry settings while providing the least amount of graphics quality in most cases. The game should also have Vertical Sync and/or Triple buffering. If it does I would do that. It might cause a bit of lag though so you might have to play around. In all likelihood turning down the settings won't do much if it is trying to push out as much FPS as possible it's still going to push itself hard but worth a shot.

Thanks a lot. I'll play around with the settings for a bit.
