Hi I am building a computer, and I was wondering if I need 3000Mhz ram or if that is just a waste of money. I am trying to bring down the cost a little bit. Here are my specs:
CPU: Intel BX80677I57600K 7th Gen Core Desktop Processors (Amazon)
GPU: GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1060 Windforce OC GV-N1060WF2OC-6GD Video Card (Newegg)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120 mm PWM Fan (Newegg)
PSU: EVGA 110-BQ-0600-K1 BQ 80 Plus Bronze Semi Modular 600W Power Supply (Newegg)
RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 8GB (2 x 4GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3000 (PC4 24000) Desktop Memory Model CMK8GX4M2B3000C15 (Newegg)
OS: Microsoft Windows 10 Home USB Flash Drive (My friend's dad has it)
Motherboard: ASUS Z170-A ATX DDR4 Motherboards (Amazon)
Thank you in advance for your help!
