I only use my computer for the basics (chrome, YouTubes, streams and games) and i only really play low intensive games (CSGO). I've had it for exactly a year and it has not been upgraded in any way. I've been experiencing problems with it over the last couple weeks/months ,as expected with a PC, but im not too sure what the cause is and what i need to do.

Problems
1. I usually run csgo at around 250 fps, however sometimes when im playing up it will have sudden, split second frame drops (From 250 to 10 or so, so it's like it's freezing)
-As well as this, last couple of games its run around 140-180 fps, still good but not the usual
2. Only just happened today, but in game my mouse has sometimes cut out (may just be nothing)
3. Some days the computers performance massively drops near the end of the day, usually after 5-7 hours of use (sometimes even with low usage)
4. Some times it almost seems like my computer has mood swings when some days it just runs awful from the get go, and some days just runs perfectly.
5. If i dont use my computer one day, the next time i use it, it often runs very slowly.
6. Used to load in matches on csgo super quickly, however as of lately it has started to take a while, and sometimes needs a couple game resets to get in a game (comes up with the "wait for game to respond" "close game" option with the white error overlay)

That's all that i can currently think off, and they are mostly to do with gaming.
Only things that i can think of causing this is that:I often have chrome, Skype and CS open and I sometimes have many tabs open in chrome which causes some lag.

Running windows 10

I'm not sure what needs to be ungraded/replaced, or if anything needs to be replaced, any help would be great!
ps. sorry for the million word explanation.

Follow steps 1-7 of these instructions to see where your pagefile is and how large it is.

http://tunecomp.net/win10-page-file-disable/

If you have a pagefile on your D: drive, disable it. The pagefile on the C: drive can be set to System Managed, or a custom pagefile with a 1GB minimum size, and 8 GB maximum size.

Ill shut down chrome more often but would you suggest getting 8 more gigs of RAM just for when the pc cant handle chome, as I didn't realize it uses so much.
Hit ctrl-alt-del and start Task Manager. On the Performance tab, look at how much memory is being used when you game...
Did you by chance put the pagefile on the HDD to try to save some space on the 120GB SSD? Don't do that. Put the pagefile on the SSD. Make it a custom pagefile. 1 GB minimum, 8 GB max. That way most of the time it'll only take 1GB of space, using more only if you run out of RAM.

Pagefile access on a slow (or sleeping) HDD is one of the few things which can cause the mouse pointer to intermittently freeze on an otherwise normal system. (Out-of-date video or motherboard chipset drivers, or lack of chipset drivers, or hardware failure are the other reasons I've seen.)

Chrome is a memory hog. It fires up a new instance of itself for every tab (to prevent cross-site exploit where a malicious site in one tab reads Chrome's memory to read what you're doing on your banking site in another tab). Since you only have 8GB of RAM, I would close it when gaming. You can temporarily bookmark all open tabs (creates a bookmark folder), shut down chrome, then re-open all those tabs next time you use Chrome. Or if you insist on leaving Chrome running, I'd add an extension which freezes background tabs.

I'm not too sure what you mean by pagefile exactly, but i have CSGO on my SSD and all of my other games on the HDD as i play CS the most.
Ill shut down chrome more often but would you suggest getting 8 more gigs of RAM just for when the pc cant handle chome, as I didn't realize it uses so much.
Also the 'Out-of-date video or motherboard chipset drivers, or lack of chipset drivers, or hardware failure ' would this be a simple software update or, say buying a new processor?

Thanks for the help so far

Hit ctrl-alt-del and start Task Manager. On the Performance tab, look at how much memory is being used when you game with Chrome running. If it's getting close to or above 7GB, I would upgrade to 16 GB of RAM. If it's down near 4-5 GB, then you have plenty of RAM. Around 6GB is a toss-up. Get the upgrade if you can afford it.

Also the 'Out-of-date video or motherboard chipset drivers, or lack of chipset drivers, or hardware failure ' would this be a simple software update or, say buying a new processor?
Except for hardware failure, those are simple software updates. Check with your motherboard and video card manufacturer's website for updated drivers. Download and install them.

Also, if you haven't run a virus/malware scan recently, do so. Download and install a copy of Malwarebytes, update and run a scan. It catches a lot of stuff regular antivirus misses.
