Hi, I just gathered up a new PC. After an hour I started to get random blue screen errors. Then I reinstalled windows. Still no change.

Then I took out one of the rams and it is working fine. When I add it I get blue screens again. I tried to turn on xmp from bios, but it didn't work also. I am using 2 and 4 as sockets because apparently, that is the default sockets for dual ram.

I am using MSI Z170A M3 motherboard and Corsair Vengeance ddr4 dual ram? Thank you

ps: i tried each ram differently, one of them still gives bdos when plugged in solo. the other is fine.

probably a faulty ram stick

have you tried running the ONE ram stick that you add ALONE? and see if you get the blue screen? if that ONE stick blue screens when it's alone, then you just have faulty ram. Not a big deal :)
