I don't want to play at 30 fps. I much prefer 60 fps. I know that probably means playing at 1440p? Would another GTX 1070 get the job done? 1440p just looks blurry to me after seeing 4K. What about upgrading to a GTX 1080? A GTX 1080 is really my only single card option because the Titan X(Pascal) is not affordable. Should I wait for the GTX 1080 ti and hope I'll be able to afford it?

I want to be able to play at 4K high settings at least and get 60 fps or at least close to it.

Well I thought I'd update you guys. I got sli 1070's and it's awesome. Every game I've played has ran really well at 4K. Some games needed me to run Nvidia profile inspector in order for them to run right in sli. So far it's just absolutely amazing.

If the Titan XP is not affordable, then the options you have are pretty much what you've stated: SLI 1070s, if you're ABSOLUTELY looking at 60FPS then SLI 1080s (a single 1080 will not achieve a steady 60FPS in 4k), or waiting for the 1080Ti to come out and looking at the benchmarks for that. The Titan XP is barely hitting 60FPS as a single card solution in 4k games. That said--it is hitting 60FPS at 4k in games, but it's very close on the line to not.

Lol it really depends on the game. For example ultra gta v u get like 55fps (msaa off adnvaced off) and it looks good but in watch dogs 2rest in 24fps

(5760x1080 gtx 1070 personal experience). But on watch dogs i had extra details on 100% and pixel scale to 1.25 (cant look decent otherwise)

I think GTX 1070's in SLI would do the best for me but I'm not sure about SLI because it looks like most of the new games don't support it. BUT for 90% of those games you can create an sli profile and get it working.
