Will an i5-7500 work on a MSI H110M ECO Micro ATX LGA1151 motherboard?

Yes, pcpartpicker.com says that a BIOS update may be required for it to work, but I'm wondering if anyone here has actually installed a Kaby Lake CPU on one of these motherboards, just so I don't have to worry about making an unwise purchase with this CPU. :p

My question is, how do I do a BIOS update if it won't boot with a Kaby Lake CPU? I know that's a dumb question but I'm not too familiar with new motherboards.

Oh. Well that sucks. I'm building a new computer and I'm getting the mobo and the CPU brand new. Guess I'll just stick with the 6500 then, hehe.

I just bought the mobo btw (the MSI H110M ECO Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard) from newegg.com. Do you think there's a chance that it's already updated to the latest BIOS right out of the box? I ordered the mobo yesterday.

I see, well thank you for your help. I'm glad I found out all this info now and not after I had already bought an i5-7500! I'll just stick with the 6500. :)
