AMD Athlon X4 840 wont run with Asus A88XM-A/USB3.1

i have this motherboard (Asus A88XM-A/USB3.1)with an AMD Athlon X4 840 while it says in the website it supports that cpu the pc wont start tried with my 7850k the pc started

You realize that the 840 does NOT have built-in graphics like the 7850K and you will need a discrete graphics card. The motherboard graphics won't work.

i know that and i have a seperate gpu for that motherboard the issue is that the mobo wont take the 840 while it says it support that cpu
