This is a custom built PC, but I didnt' install windows. A person I know did it for free, and they work at a PC hardware store. I currently can't get in touch with him and I won't be able to for the next while. I know how to find the product ID, and it says Windows is activated, but how do I see if it is retail or OEM? I am upgrading my PC and need to know if I have to purchase a new key.

Thanks! But new issue.... Mine is Volume. I have no idea what this may mean. Is it similar to retail or OEM? Could I use this key onto a new PC?
