I ordered a refurbished laptop. Many things I wouldn't buy refurbished, but this is saving me around 40%. My only reservation is when they refurbish laptops, do they give you the old battery? I imagine there are different standards for different refurbishers. This laptop wasn't available until 2016, so it cannot be that old, but who knows how the previous person used it.
Are there some tests I can do (software bench marking or something) to see where the battery stand?
I thought to just charge it and play a very long video with the screen on and see how long it lasts on battery, but wondered if there was a more scientific way.
