PC not showing my GPU anywhere but fan is spinning

So i bought a brand new set of parts and started building my first PC. specs:
- Intel quad core i5 6500k 3.2Ghz (sky lake)
- Zotac GTX 1050 2GB
- 8GB Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2400Mhz RAM
- Gigabyte H110M-S2H Mobo

Using my old 500w power supply. (ATX P4?)

I've just done a fresh install and finally got the computer up and running with all the drivers however i went to install my graphics card one through the automatic installation and manual one and the Nvidia install thing says unable to find a graphics card that's compatible.

I've so far tried rebooting with the integrated graphics card disabled, reinstalling all (other) drivers, updated BIOS, and re fitted the graphics card a few times.

When fitted the cards fan still spins and seems like it's working but obviously could still be faulty.

I've seen other people having similar issues but none of the solutions have helped me so far!

Would be great if anyone could provide me with some information

One if it's crappy psu, might not be enough for that gpu. two, if you're getting a picture and windows and all that plugged into it, than something is working on it or else you wouldn't see anything. I assume you're plugged into it.

Throw that GPU in the garbage and get an EVGA or an ASUS. Zotac sux

So its plugged into the MOBO atm to do anything on, it doesnt show any display when using DVI or HDMI in the GPU.

So I bought all new parts for a build i wanted and put it together yesterday. everything worked fine and a fresh install of windows 7 along with all the drivers needed were installed.

Specs are:
- Intel i5 6500k skylake processor @3.2GHz
- Zotac Geforce gtx1050 2GB (mini version)
- Gigabyte H110M-S2H (PCI-e 16x)
- 1x8GB DDR4 RAM (Corsair Vengeance LPX 2400MHz - running at 2133MHz)
- ATX P4 500w Power supply - not sure if ATX P4 is the name as i didnt buy this, i already had it.

So ive tried updating BIOS, Removing GPU and fitting it in a different PC to see if it worked - it did! and putting my old GPU in this and trying the display to no avail. The motherboard graphics work and are what im using for now but aren't nearly good enough to run any games.

**Please note that i have tried the old GPU i had in this new build and still the display does not work through the graphics card.

The nvidia installer wont let me get the drivers either and third party software like Speccy doesnt show the GPU there either.

Only thing i can think of is a MOBO problem with the PCI-e slot however it doesnt have an alternative one i can try so i think im screwed. however shouldnt this not be faulty anyway as ive bought it brand new...

Any help at all will be appreciated. The GPUs that i put in dont show in the BIOS or Device manager either if that helps.

UPDATE: The fans spin but the ports dont make the screen actually come on unless im using MOBO ones. (HDMI & DVI)
