Please help:

Bought a new western digital blue 3tb hd. It came poorly packaged and may have been damaged. I tried formatting it like I have done with multiple same drives via and external docking station.

It would NOT format. While it usually takes seconds for a quick format, it got stuck. I did a hard shut down of the drive and restarted my computer. Before that however, the disk management recognized it an got me to the point of quick format.

However, then I could not get my computer to recognize it, don't think it formatted. I clicked "disable" in disk management, thinking I could "enable" it as a fix. Now, my computer won't recognize the drive at all and won't allow me to re-enable it.

MAIN PROBLEM: Now all my other western digital hard blue hard drives won't show up via my external docking station. The external docking station and usb ports are fine because I have a western digital green that is showing up right now as I type this.

How do I get my computer (via external docking station) to recognize my wd blue hard drives?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.
