I currently have 2 computers hooked up to my local network with one of them acting as a media server. until about a week ago i would get a constant 5-15MBps transfers between them. since there is a bottleneck caused by 100mbps ethernet that is quite good however, i have recently had all transfers drop to 200-500KBps.
the computer being used as a server is connected with a 877mbps wireless ac connection and the other is connected with a 100mbps ethernet connection.
many threads suggested disabling Large Send Offload on both computers but that had no effect for me.
both computers get the same 35mbps down and 65mbps up when interfacing with online servers.
one computer is running windows 10, the other windows 10 pro.
the problem seemed to start after one of the computers restarted for an update but rolling back the update also had no effect.
