M thinking of buying a cpu but m confused which one to choose between i3-6100 or the amd A10 7850k ?? which one should i go for ?? and some game asks for quad core cpu to run games..
◘ gonna buy rx 480 gpu to pair it with them...
◘ budget is 10k rs....

current AMD CPU are defunct, until the ZEN series comes out, A10 is MUCH slower than the I3-6100 (single core scores are double amd, and as performant as amd in multi cores) , AMD CPU WILL BE cheaper and yes you can run games on it. but no upgrade paths possible.

so its is really all about your pocket and the money in it. and what is available more easily in India

I personally think the i3 if you have a good graphics card. The i3 could hyperthread so the core problem with games is no worries. It really depends what hardware you buy along the CPU because they can not fit in the same motherboard. The intel CPU should be better for future upgrades because either are the best CPUS and you most likely to upgrade in the future.
