Hello guys,

I wanna play ARK but i don't know what gpu to chose. My current gpu has only 1gb ram and the game plays on 5fps with that card. I have an Hp Compaq 6000 pro sff.
A 240 Power suply and a motherbord that supports Ddr3 ram (i have 8gb ram.)
my budget is around 100 euro ( I'm from belgium ) I saw some forums about hp compaqs that have max 25watt slots for gpu? idk but thank everyone

Sorry about my english.

To be brutality honest neither your CPU or the GT730 are going to be capable of running ARK in what I would consider even halfway playable. Depending on your resolution even on the lowest settings you are probably looking at a stuttering < 10fps.

Is it possible if i upgrade my PSU to 450 watt?
and btw i have an intel core 2 duo 3ghz

Your CPU is too weak to run ARK, you won't have very playable frame rates, and it may not even install on the system. Not worth paying to get a power supply, I'd put that money towards a new system. There are i3 and i5 bases systems in my area in the $100-$150 range for a business tower that can run a card like a GTX 750 Ti or an RX 460.

Maybe, look up the CPU model you have to find out it's socket type, then look up that socket to see what CPUs are available. You will see a wattage rating for them, anything with the same wattage should work. You can probably get an Intel Core 2 Quad in there, but that still will be very marginal for any new game with a low end video card. By the time you get everything you may as well get a new system.
