compatibility of graphic card

i am using Intel core i 5 4400 @ 3.1 GHz and 1600*900 monitor, asus motherboard......i am planning to buy Rx 480..... can i expect maximum performance from Rx 480 ?

Which exact CPU are you talking about? (because i5-4400 is a series name, not exact model)

sorry i5_4440 i didnt see that properly....... is that compatible with Rx 480 or gtx 1060??

Go to this forum and open up "The ultimate bottlenecking guide", you will find all info there. (I gave a link in a previous msg)

According to that chart, i5-4440 is compatible and will not bottleneck a RX 480. You might feel some bottleneck because i5-4440 is still in "will not bottleneck" colour, but any other weaker CPU like i5-4440S are in "will bottleneck in the worst case scenario / very cpu demanding games" colour.
