So I loaded up my PC one day to dind that it wasn't booting. I then let it try to repair but nothing happened. I later found out it was the bad system config info error and i tried everhthing to attempt to fix it. Mothing worked. I then tried all the advanced options windows 10 provides and nothing worked. Finally I went to check if my HDD was OK and i found this..

Disk 1
Status: No media
Size: 0 B
Free: 0 B

(i already tried unplugging it and plugging it back in)
Do I need a new HDD?

Solution
Hi there Minimarney,

That is really unpleasant. :(

I would agree with JaredDM. The HDD is most probably dead.

Yet, it would not hurt to attach it with different cables to another SATA port or even computer.
If the issue persists, then you can:
- RMA the drive is under warranty.
- Contact a data recovery company if the data stored on the drive is really important.

Cheers,
