I'm building a new moderate gaming machine that would work for a few years, but doesn't break the bank for me (at around $1000-$1100 budget). I just spent a few days researching and have assembled the following components:

I'd like experts to review my selection and help me decide. Are there any components where I'm under/over-investing? I'm specially concerned about the motherboard (didn't find any reviews). Being much cheaper than other Z270 boards, is there anything I'm sacrificing with this model? What about the cooler and PSU? Also are there any incompatibilities? I'm not going to overclock it. Choosing Z270 because I intend to use Optane storage once it becomes available/affordable.

I'd go with a slightly better board. Especially since MSI isn't known for the best quality control with their boards.

And I'd go for a better cooler like a Cryorig H7 or a Scythe Mugen.

But it's a nice build overall.
You can easily cut back to 550W on the PSU if it's any cheaper
