Hey everyone, this is my first time posting but I am a long time viewer of these treads.
So here is my problem. I have a friends computer that I am currently working on. All she wanted to have done were updates and a defrag. Well, I did all the updates....all 321 of them!
She has a Lenovo Thinkcenter with Win7Pro installed. After all the updates were done, I tried to install CCleaner but the browser gives me an error "Unable to access the network"
I used cmd to ping google and I got a perfect response. I also checked the mac address to see if maybe the address in the network map was wrong (because i read that in another thread) and all is good on that end.
It seems that as far as updates to currently installed programs can be done, but as far as using Chrome or IE, I can not connect to the internet. Am I missing something or does someone know of an Update that could have broken and which one it could be?
