I was recently thinking of getting a better card and processor but I'm not sure if all of them would be compatible. Also I don't know what other parts I need.
PC: https://www.amazon.com/CybertronPC-Borg-Q-Gaming-Desktop-Discontinued/dp/B00GFG1B1A
(I switched the graphics card from the GT 610 to a GTX 950)
GPU (What I would like to upgrade to) : https://www.amazon.com/MSI-GAMING-GTX-970-4G/dp/B00NN0GEXQ?th=1
CPU (What I would like to upgrade to) : https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113284&ignorebbr=1&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC-_-pla-_-Processors+-+Desktops-_-N82E16819113284&gclid=CN632IiA6NECFRRsfgodhp0Fpg&gclsrc=aw.ds
Any feedback would be awesome. Thank you to anyone who takes their time to respond.

Solution
Rather than purchasing old and outdated hardware, I'd probably recommend taking that $500 upgrade budget and putting towards a new core system:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel Core i5-7500 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($198.69 @ SuperBiiz)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B250M-DS3H Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($73.98 @ Newegg)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2800 Memory ($89.99 @ Newegg)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit ($88.58 @ OutletPC)
Total: $451.24
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

i would go for a 1060 6g rather than a 970, its faster, more efficient and cheaper. you might want to save your money and wait for a new cpu. 8350 is old... Ryzen comes out next month prices all around will change. I would wait even if you want the 8350.

Keep you GTX 950 and upgrade that when the GTX11xx series cards come out.

Yeah that sounds great. This'll be my priority thought right now. Thanks so much for the suggestion.
