Hi
I have bought a used pc a few weaks ago. Problem is with games, after like an hour, the screen freezes, and 5 seconds later the game exits. Everything else works perfectly, the game just exits.
This problem occured with these games yet:
witcher 3, xcom 2, fallout 4
I've tried testing programs for the cpu, gpu, ram too, everything is normal. The temperatures were normal, too. (cpu max 65c, gpu max 75c)
The psu voltages are normal, stable.
Played with both rams separately, games still crashed after an hour.
I've tried with and without overclocking, same happened.
specs:
i7 3770k
gtx 660ti
asus p8z77 ws
2x4 gb corsair vengeance
zalman cnps10x cpu cooler
12cm ventilators, 3 of them
psu: lc power lc8850 (low quality maybe?)
wd green 2tb hdd
windows 10 64bit
Even cleaned everything with comlressed air spay.
please help!

Solution
Bad power supply is first thing, could be a failing video card. If it's overclocked especially, that can easily kill components over time. Did you do a clean Windows setup after getting the system?

Thank You for your answer!
Yes I did a clean windows reinstall.
I've tested the video card with 3dmark11, atitool and furmark with no problem.
Trying to borrow a power supply now.
Pretty sure the last owner oc'd it ) :

The games crash/exits, do you end up at the desktop or does the system do a restart?

Something caused a hangup. There should hopefully be something recorded in the event viewer, under the Application log or maybe the System log. You could look there to see if there are any Errors listed at the time the game exits.

My system has started doing this only recently in Witcher 3 i will get random crashes/exits to the desktop it may happen after 30 mins or 4 hours its really annoying now, also for the first time last night my pc had auto restarted whilst in a game im baffled.
